My name is Jen. A common name among my family and friends for me is Jenna. Fate moved me to the same town the Animorphs lived in. And this is my story. This is my account of how I got the know them. This is how I know the Animorphs and their secrets.
I came in and took everything away from them. The accounts you have read or heard of before, they are nothing now. Only certain parts remained. Certain events might be the same. I'm guessing the first ten or so accounts you have read are the same. But after that... not anymore.

I got a Fear Street novel from the top of my book case and tossed myself on my bed. Finally! Some relaxing after all that moving effort! You never realize how much stuff you have until you move, Gran says. I couldn't relax for long though the phone rang. I sighed and reached to my bedside table where I had a house phone.
"Hello?" I answered. My voice sounded like a choir of bells that evening. I was extremely happy for some reason.
"Hi, my name is Jake. I life right across the street from you. I know you just moved in and I may not know you very well; but if you keep your curtains open everyone can see into your bedroom." a male's voice around my age said.
It took me a minute to realize what he was talking about. I stared at the phone and then walked over to my window. Sure enough there was Jake sitting on his porch on the phone.
"But I hate these curtains." I told him over the phone as I smiled down at him from my window. "I bought them at Wal-Mart for 15 dollars and they are made with the worst fabric I have ever seen."
I could see Jake smile and hear him laugh.
"Then why did you buy them to begin with?" he laughed.
"They were on sale."
We both ended up laughing. It was several minutes until we stopped.
"How about you come over? My grandparents are out at Food Lion restocking our empty fridge. I'm sure they won't mind if I brought over the neighbor kid."
I saw him shift in an uncertain way. But he stood up none the less. I waited for his response.
"My friends are coming over..." he started. I slumped in disappointment. He noticed this and felt a little crestfallen himself. But he was going to say more, I could feel it.
"But I'm sure if I tell my dad were I am he'll tell my friends."
"Then we'll have a welcome-to-the-neighborhood party?" I joked. I could see a smile creep across Jake's face. I liked that smile.
"Why not?" After that he hung up the phone and went inside his house.
I quickly put the reciever back and ran downstairs to the front door. I soothed out my hair and clothes then I waited for him to ring the doorbell. If only my grandmother could see me now! Just last week I told her that if a boy offered to come over I would make no fuss about it, and here I was. Making a fuss about a boy coming over.

"Your house looks bigger then what it did outside." Jake said as I showed him the living room.
"You think so? It's a lot smaller then my other house. I'm sure of it." I responded as I shoved a box out of the way. We had only been in the house for a week and the only rooms that looked normal were the bedrooms.
"How about we go up to my bedroom?" I finally suggested. "We still need to unpack some furniture. A LOT of furniture."
I led him to my bedroom and flicked on the lights. The crystal statues I collected sent off millions of rainbows on the walls and ceiling. Jake let out a whistle in amazement.
After several minutes I wanted to say something to him.
"You're different then most kids." I told him. He looked at me surprised but amused at the same time.
"Oh yeah?"
"You and your friends... you can morph into..." Before I could finish the doorbell rang.
I told Jake to wait in my room while I got the door.
"Hey is Jake here? His father said he came over?" a boy said around mine and Jake's age.
"Yeah. I'll go get him."
Then I shouted,
"Jake! One of your friends is here!"
"I could have done that." the boy said. I smiled at him warmly.
"Then we must think alike then."
Then Jake came to the door and saw his friend.
"Hey man." he said as they did one of those one-arm hug things. Boys.
"I"ll see you later OK?" Jake said to me.
"Sure! Any time you want to come over do not forget to knock." I responded. He nodded and left with his friend.
"Dude what do you think you're doing?" I could hear his friend distantly say.
"She's fine Marco."
"But is she one of Them?"
"No Marco," I said to myself, "I am not a Controller." And I shut the door.
Chapter 1 of my new Animorphs fan fiction. I think i did a pretty nice job making the story sound like one of the original books. But that may just be me.
I'll upload a picture of Jen as a Sim soon. I promise.
